Looks like this "large" family is growing

Well, as some of you have already guessed, it is true... we are pregnant with number 4!!! We are so excited to be adding another baby to our world. The kids know and I will often hear J asking if the folic acid I'm taking is for the baby. N knows where the baby is and will play peek-a-boo. S is mostly indifferent. He will act all silly when I try to have any type of serious conversation. He loves any thought of playing with kids so I have no doubt he will love the interaction he will receive.

B and I were shocked at first. This was our first and only "oops" since N was born. If there was a chance for us to get pregnant, this would have been it. I guess God really wants us to have another baby. I joke that B can't look at me anymore as he's passing by. This runs in my family. My grandmother and mother alike had used the same lines when they were in their childbearing years.

The only adjustment we will need to deal with now is upgrading our small, gas-efficient, Nissan Sentra car for a somewhat gas-efficient minivan or cross-over or 7-seater Volvo. My preference is the Mazda CX 9!!!

This beauty is out of our price range, of course. I love it's compact style and that all children would be front facing (the Volvos have 2 seats that face to the back and B doesn't like that idea).
My choice for a minivan is a Nissan Quest.

Of course, I'm showing you all the newest models. Not even sure what the older models look like but these are the top of the lines. Do we need top of the line? Absolutely not.

Both of these are sleek looking and have more efficient fuel economy. I would trade sleek looking for cheap minivan under $8,000 anyday. As you can see, we have some researching to do.

We are due April 11th. A perfect month. Not too close to any of the other birthdays of our children. We aren't sure yet, whether we'll be finding out the gender. I really do hope so. I'll keep you updated as the pregnancy continues. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

It was inevitable

We're excited for you - and for us. To have a wee grandbaby nearby will be a treat we haven't had since Celine's first year. If I've been hearing you right, I believe this will be the privilege reserved for our eldest and youngest grandchildren - lucky us:)) Virility was a virtue on the Toews side of the family tree too - we won't tell Grandma and Grandpa Toews your news until they come in September and you can ask her what was her "line"?

Congrats!

It is so exciting that you are expecting!! April is a wonderful month (E and I are the 6th and the 8th!)

We look forward to walking beside you on this journey!

yee-haw

Very excited for you and so happy to be adding more cousins to the Toews clan. 2 kids (for my parents) and 7 grandkids - that ain't bad.

love ya & congratulations
