There's nothing like drinking good coffee in beautiful pottery!
Everyone has their vices. I have many. Today, however, I'll just chat about my love affair for coffee. Ah....
As crazy as I am over this obsession, noone can say it better than a new friend here from Halifax. This girl is a riot! Go take a look at
her craziness. I don't think anyone could put it better. :)
Notice the bubbles in my cup? If it don't have bubbles, it ain't worth drinking. Unfortunately, bubbles are not a way to ensure a great cup of coffee, though. Did you know you could tell the weather with a good cup of coffee? If the bubbles sit along the rim, the barometric pressure is low and it will most likely be a cloudy, wet day. If, on the other hand, the bubbles are pooled in the centre, the barometric pressure is high and the weather should be great! Of course, it's not an exact science. ;)
In my cup this morning, you will see that the bubbles run all along the surface equally. This might mean that the barometric pressure is rising or falling and that changing weather is ensuing. I had just poured the cup for the picture, but, as I waited my bubbles pooled in the center.
Looks like for me, it's going to be a great day!
